DCI WORLD CLASS CORPS
• Ensembles up to 165 performers
• Age limit of 21 years (22 for birthdays on or after June 1)
• Most extensive national touring schedules
DCI OPEN CLASS CORPS
• Ensembles up to 165 performers while some choose to be smaller
• Age limit of 21 years (22 for birthdays on or after June 1)
• Typically less extensive touring schedules with some ensembles staying closer to home
• Can be an entry level for first-year or less-experienced performers including those who want to learn a second instrument
DCI ALL-AGE CLASS CORPS
• Allows performers of any age, subject to individual corps policies
• Corps tend to rehearse & perform almost entirely on weekends
• Ensembles from 40 to 128 performers
DCI SOUNDSPORT TEAMS
• Ensembles from 5 to 165+ performers
• More local based, non-touring, single day performance opportunities
• Any style of ensemble with performers of any age playing any types of instruments
• Highly-flexible format helps keep cost, rehearsal and travel requirements to a minimum
